Long haul flight from freezing to tropical- what to wear?

Flying to Caribbean from uk next week, leaving home at 6am so likely to be literally freezing when we leave home, then 9 hour ish flight (club/business if that’s relevant), then 28/9 degrees. What do classy people wear/do? Dress for arrival and freeze until you get there?Change on plane? I’m a jeans person normally but will boil in jeans at the other end - advice please?

Legging and a dry fit top with zip up hoodie. I put my hoodie on back to front on the plane so it covers me but can be taken off without sms king the passenger next to me in the face.

I have a really nice pashmina type thing which I can use on the plane as a blanket and also wear in the evenings on holiday. But yes a thin/mid weight hoodie for the plane as well.

Unless you are walking to the airport, it will be about 18 degrees in the taxi / car / bus / train / airport. So just wear comfortable layers and take them off as needed.

eg cotton leggings under lightweight trousers, use the leggings as Pj or loungewear when you are on holiday. Vest top + Short sleeved top + LS top + lightweight sweater + lightweight jacket + scarf. Use the scarf as an extra blanket on the plane if needed and as a shawl over dresses in the evening on holiday.

Remove / add layers as needed on the flight. Remove most of them and pack in your cabin bag before landing.

It will be cold on the flight because it always is. 29 is a perfectly fine temperature for ordinary clothes unless you are walking a long way or tarmacing a road or something.

Leggings t shirt and hoodie with my down jacket. Would put flip flops and a skirt (with enough stretch to take leggings off underneath) in my hand luggage.

I mostly travel in jeans back and forth between here and Uk. Wear a hoodie or woolen pashmina thing on the plane as it’s always cold in the air. Most vehicles will have feeezing AC so you won’t boil between airport and your destination unless you’re walking!
Pack your coat into the suitcase as soon as you collect luggage.
