Is there a way to get alerts when favourite retailers have a sale on?

Sign up for their emails / newsletters?

I’ve suggested that before on S&B only to have people retort that they don’t want to be inundated with emails. But at the same time they want other people to tell them what’s currently available and in fashion …

What I find is that a few weeks or months of regular updating can help you to really interrogate the quality and appeal of a brand - and you just unsubscribe once you’re bored. With the ones you’re left with - you’re forewarned of when a sale will be happening and can plan what you want to spend your money on. (Sometimes I find that by the time the sale happens I’ve changed my mind about a thing I thought I desperately wanted.)
