Would you buy perfume on vinted?

Or is it dodgy? There’s one I want, seller has claimed they pay wholesale price and given me a supposed receipt. But I’m hesitating….bad idea?

Are you allowed to link the listing? How much cheaper is it? I have bought many perfumes from vinted and had no issue.

More than half price. Seller reckons they buy wholesale due to relationships with beauty industry. Guess I’m worried about it being fake/watered down or something…

Did it once, and it was fake.

If I hadn't got an original bottle and box I would have struggled to tell by appearance, but it was obvious it wasn't real when I smelt it. It smelt nice, but the genuine one smells amazing.

Getting my money back was a bit of a ballache - again, I was saved by my original bottle and box, I had to send in evidence as to why I believed it to be fake. As it was a "good" fake it needed the comparison photos and proof of my Macy's payment to prove it.

I wouldn't ever risk it again.

Seller has shown a supposed receipt for a wholesale - I realise this could be a fake. Yes that has crossed my mind but how could you know?

Just go with your gut. If it feels dodgy just leave it

In this case I wouldn’t buy. A regular seller who’s listings are clear they are having a personal sort out then I would trust that a little more

I do sometimes buy Elemis cream on vinted and it was always ok.

OP just buy it.
If you think it's fake when it arrives, tell them there's an issue and return it.

Vinted always side with the buyer IME.
