Jeans that don't get bigger during the day!!!

Hello! Have a jeans issue for skinny or slim fit styles! I also wear baggier styles but sometimes a slimmer fit suits me better and my outfits.

Whatever I buy (including buying jeans with no elastane in but just cotton) they seem to stretch during the day and fall down, go baggy!

I'm slim but have a rounded tummy from babies - partly fat and partly stomach muscles that never rejoined.

Belt look awful because they protrude and ruins the line of whatever top I'm wearing but jeans are still stretching anyway and looking awful even if they don't fall down.

Also to be honest high waisted styles really emphasise my rounded tum.

Used to wear white stuff but they changed them and they stretched. Fat face same. Levi's - same!

Any brand recommendations?

I prefer bootcoot so not the same style but recently got some Eva ones from M&S, they have some stretch in them but don’t expand (so far) over the course of the day, they stay at the same level of stretch. Might be worth trying some of their slim fit on.

There is a school of thought that you need to buy a size smaller than you think you need to take account of the fact they will grow. The theory being they are overly tight at first but give out and end up the perfect fit as they have expanded around you.

It could be you haven't found the perfect fit, so the waist/hip measurement is off. Fits hips but too big on waist?

I think some degree of slippage is expected with skinny jeans, I have to hoik mine up a bit during the day. Because they are going to be affected by every body movement as they are so closely fitted. Knees are a other place they can go baggy. If they didn't stretch at all you wouldn't be able to move.

I do need to buy jeans that are a tiny bit sbug to avoid this happening. They feel tight in the morning but perfect later in the day.

Never had this problem with any of my jeans. I buy jeans from Hiut Denim.

Zara trafaluc. Check out on vinted. I'm an apple shape and these are the only jeans I'll buy x

I have this problem as I'm bigger on the waist so I do get a tight fit there, but my hips and bum are smaller, so to fit my waist to big on the hips, as I'm now older 64 I'm finding jeans to tight on my waist, can't go up a size as to baggie on hips and bum, not sure what to buy now.

Lindyloo, are you me?
Same problem. It’s like putting an elastic band round a football - the slightest movement and down everything slips off belly and down over skinny hips.
The only solution is a really tight belt, which is horribly uncomfortable, so I’m wearing jeans less these days.
