Bra size advice - alternative sizes, I’m so confused 🫤

So I am wildly sexy in my bra choices… if M&S don’t sell it, I don’t buy it!

Anyhow after some changes to my body, I’m am now a 30C, however M&S don’t seem to carry this size across all bras.

I know this used to be a huge thing on MN, bra intervention I think? 🤔

Could anyone suggest a bra size that would be equivalent to 30C but widely available?

Thanks so much 🙏🏼

Try bra stop for a full range of sizes

32B is the equivalent size to 30C. M&S still do 30C in though. They've currently got 145 bras in a 30C on their website if you filter by size.

Should have clarified, I want to try the bras on, so while M&S still have them on their website, they don’t have a huge number in the store local to me.

Going for a sister size, if your size fits but you just can’t get it is buying a bra that doesn’t fit. You may as well let them measure you into a 34B 🙄

They usually have a terrible range in store, so order online if you have to go M&S (they stretch/don’t fit great anyway IME), or branch out- John Lewis, Boux avenue, bravissimo, brastop etc.

Could you order several online to collect at your local store and then return the ones you don't want? It's a bit of a faff but it's probably the easiest way to get a bra that fits.

SapphireOpal · 16/03/2025 07:57

The problem is, it's not going to be "equivalent". If you go up a band and drop a cup to get to something more readily available, your bra won't support you properly. I say this as a 30JJ which believe me is a total pain in the arse to find.

Just order a few 30Cs and return the ones you don't want.

This reminded me that I used to love Freya for bras… checked and they haven’t a single bra in 30c 🫤🫤

will keep checking!

Actually ignore that!

So the boob or bust methodology as your sizing will change. m&S sizing is wildly wrong and off. Go down a band and massively up in breast tissue sizing.

madaboutpurple · 17/03/2025 09:57

I was measured at bravissimo and found that very helpful. It turned out I was a different size than I had been told at M&S.
