Help! Amy winehouse dress

really stuck for ideas and hoping for some inspiration please!

I have a fancy dress party coming up and I need to go as Amy winehouse. Wig is easy, but am struggling for a suitable dress.

Ideally would like something retro style eg pencil dress as this is closer to my own style so could wear again but open to ideas. My problem is finding something with sleeves (at least small/short ones) as I hate my arms. I’m a size 14.

has anyone seen anything/know any good brands I could check out?

I don’t want to spend too much but up to about £80 would be ok.

Vest top, cardigan, short skirt, ballet pumps. Wig. Done!

I did a black pencil skirt, lime green vest and a little cream coloured bolero. I also bought cheap satin ballet pumps and stained them with a bit of fake blood 🤣 also got fake tattoo transfers in the style as the ones she had.

I got a simple tube skirt and a corset type top. And ballet pumps. Stick a cardigan over the top

Have you thought of a polo shirt dress? She did a collab with Fred Perry (This looks like it’s still going) so you could find one and wear with trainers.

Otherwise fitted LBD with a shirt knotted at the waist so it looks like a shirt and skirt outfit
