Tops with built-in bra

Last year, I discovered the tops that Uniqlo do with built-in bras and I find them so comfortable that I’ve practically been living in them ever since. This is the range: https://www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/women/tops/bra-tops

I want to add some more to my wardrobe for this year, but I don’t particularly like what Uniqlo have in - I don’t usually wear cropped tops and the rest aren’t really doing it for me! Does anybody know anywhere else that does anything similar? I’ve tried Googling, but everything that comes up is underwear!

I’d particularly like to find a black boat neck tank top to go with a lovely pair of trousers I just bought Smile

There’s loads on SHEIN… no clue about quality.

Those Manners London tops look like they would be hot. They look all tight and squished. Are they?

TinkRose · 23/03/2025 12:48

I got some from Tesco last year.

I found the m&s ones recommended uncomfortable on my shoulders, I opted for the 12 but should've sized up for my boobs, but then the body of the vest wouldn't have fitted how I wanted. I've had a look at Uniqulo and these look fab for what I need thanks OP. X

how about this? I have some of their clothes, not bad at all. Didn't find the bra tops massively supportive, but I feel the same about uniqlo. So if they work for you, this brand might as well. https://oglmove.com/products/boatneck-new-airy-brami-tank

The link takes me to a US site.
Are you in the UK? If so how much are the postage costs?

trailmx · 24/03/2025 11:25

It's OK have found shipping costs, not too bad.

Another vote for Manners Ldn. I don't know how she does it, but everything I own is so comfortable, soft, and holds my 32f boobs up without being tight, squishy or hot.

As a 30J I’d love to find a top I can wear without a bra. The Bravissimo ones are good but I’d love to have one that doesn’t need a back band as that’s always a little lumpy on my back, but I also get that I need the band to hold them up! Would love to be a 32F again like when I was 20 years younger than I am now. So much more choice than a J cup. The Manners London ones look very uncomfy and like they’d be hot to wear, also not one of their models has decently uplifted boobs. They do not look flattering at all to me.

How are these tops with, er, prominent nipples? Asking for a friend Smile

@QueenOfThorns you'd want to slap on a silicone thing like Cakes (ie the larger ones with thinned out edge), not ones that will show in themselves. Those are really comfy and stay put and no visible nip. What is not hot and squishy about Manners is there is no padding or double layers, just some sort of magic that lets me put on a pencil dress with a racer back and look all smooth and lifted even though I am 52 and wobbly

I have seen the ones by Pour Moi reviewed in a positive light but they are quite pricey..similar to Bravissimo for price point.
