What to wear for afternoon tea in Manchester

Anyone got any recommendations for an apple shaped 5’5, size 18?
I’ve been looking but I’m lacking inspiration!

You can indeed wear whatever you like - so it entirely depends on what you’d enjoy wearing (in the context of the environment and how your companions are likely to dress). Even if you’re going somewhere grand, and your entire party is in Valentino frocks, there’ll be people at the next table in casual wear. It’s really up to you.

I’d wear a midi dress with boots. Are you looking to buy something new or have you got some possibilities in your wardrobe already?

Long sleeved midi dress and boots is a good idea. I wear mine to lots of things and always feel just right! Not too posh, not too casual. Also, long sleeves means that I don’t always need to think about a jacket or coat.
