Help me find Navy trousers that aren't officey/shiny & shitty or 'boating' trousers!

Can it be done?? THe other threads seem to pull in great suggestions, so I'm hoping for some fabulous ideas here. I'm short, but with my new Yuna shoes on I'll be about 5.5"!

I want to ease myself SLOWLY away from jeans.

does boating mean sailor, with the buttons in a line down teh hips?

Boating are those trousers that you can roll them up to mid-calf length. I don't like those ones. They are thin material. Summery. Buttons and flaps all over them and quite baggy in style. Do you know what I mean? NOT THOSE !!

Your ones sound nice but probably VERY flared?

I preferd to use the term wide-leg!

These are so nice,

and very comfy-casual.

I'm a real jeans-and-a-top mum, but have worn these, and naother pair from Topshop in teh same style, to death already this yaer. Work well with flipflops/birkis etc, just like jeans, but look so much more 'put together', even with teh same shitty vest tops that I wore before.
