Lowlights on white hair?

Getting a bit bored with my white hair. Has anyone has lowlights on white hair and what colour? Does it need very regular maintenance?

Following as keep changing my mind about this. Had a chat with hairdresser about it.

One reason I keep changing my mind is how long it's taken to grow out my previous dye to go white/grey and if I don't like the lowlights etc I'd be back to square one.

Also considering dyeing hair silver.

At the chat the hairdresser said 12 weekly maintenance for me.

There are lots of examples/images of hair online and on Pinterest but less discussion etc.
