oh, has a zip though.

you want a elasticated denim skirt?

oregonianabroad · 12/05/2008 20:14

sorry, not a zip in the front if it can be reasonably managed. makes my post-partum tum look lumpy.

OP posts:
oregonianabroad · 12/05/2008 20:15

no, not elasticated!!!!!

so not the look i was going for!

OP posts:
CocodeBear · 12/05/2008 20:16

LOL

oregonianabroad · 12/05/2008 20:18

hey, the boden one is even reasonably priced in the sale, and for once a sale item is available i my fat arse size.

OP posts:
oregonianabroad · 12/05/2008 20:19

I think so.

I live in my version of that skirt, love it.

Is good in winter with tights and boots too.

ElizabethBeresfordSW19 · 12/05/2008 20:29

I got a nice one from Green-house.com

It's not too long. Knee length and I'm not tall.

Button through, so probably not what you want. Also not online in a size 16, but maybe in the shops.

OB sorry for the slight hijack - I've never bought Boden. But that skirt looks lovely. In the sale too. How would it be on a 5 foot nothing short ass?

CocodeBear · 12/05/2008 20:51

I am only 5 ft 4 max and wierdly the skirt is shorter on me than in the pic on the site, so it would most likely be fine.

Is free returns anyway if you order through MN so nothing to lose.

oregonianabroad · 12/05/2008 20:56

hey, do you not get free returns/shipping from boden if it's sale?

ElizabethBeresfordSW19 · 12/05/2008 21:00

I clicked on those shoes and they are so lovely that I have just ordered them in red oregonianabroad. They are perfect. I spend my life looking for shoes that I can WALK in that will also make me taller. I hope they're comfortable though

oregonianabroad · 12/05/2008 21:02

they do look comfy, don't they?Just ordered them today and I am head over heels (excuse the pun).

I get it now -- you have to open the boden window through MN in order to get free shipping/returns.

Rip, I think you should give it a go.

ElizabethBeresfordSW19 · 12/05/2008 21:04

They look like they have that same curved sole as the 'anti-shoe' or the mbt or whatever they're called. But they are all horrible.

RipMacWinkle · 12/05/2008 21:08

Thanks Cocode - have just ordered!

Plus am seriously considering the shoes. Can't decide whether they'll be too clumpy of me...

Sorry again for the hijack OB.

oregonianabroad · 12/05/2008 21:11

I liked the red ones too, Elizabeth. Might have to have these in the autumn if they are as comfy as I am hoping.

This is the difference between day & night on MN: I was on here this afternoon asking about those shoes and hardly anyone liked them but me, I thought to hell with it, I'm having them. Now I've started a trend with my cute Boden almost-mini skirt & happy shoes!!
