What to ask my hairdresser?!

I have had a full fringe for about 20 years and I always ask my hairdresser for a blunt, all one-length bob which falls between my chin and shoulders. My hair is really fine and when I blow dry it it is straight but sort of curls under at the ends. It doesn’t look bad but I am a bit sick of looking like Lord Farquaad!

How do I get it to have more texture and movement, a la Lucia Greco in White Lotus?! Has she got layers? Do I just need to know how to style it better? Someone please help!

Take the picture in? That's what I always do

What happens when you don't blow dry your hair? I think she basically has a bob and it's been styled (a big blow out, maybe some rollers) so I'd say it's probably more about your products/styling.

Layers on the whole make hair look and feel thinner imo, and show split ends sooner.

I'd say it's long layers.
