am going to forget about the exorbitant cost and treat myself to a pair ... but have huge, I mean HUGE feet. (41 on a good day, but more like a 42) - anyone know how these size up? If they run small, I'm doomed ...

Lovely expensive big handbag will last longer - be more of an everyday item so people can see how fab it is - of splurge and get 2 in different colours!

NappiesGalore · 12/05/2008 16:29

lol.
cant wear sky high heels anyway
[dp breathes sigh of relief]

really cod? i remember spending 120 quid on some boots when i was 21. felt like id just robbed a bank

NappiesGalore · 12/05/2008 16:30

all my (cheap) handbags look like battered/grubby shite within a week or so. cant imagine spending hundreds on one. id need a 3m exclusion zone for the kids, which im thinking is not really practical.

TheDuchessOfNorksBride · 12/05/2008 16:48

They are narrow-ish, I don't have narrow feet but can wear some very high mules for hours. I have some spindly courts too but I do find them a bit tight. I take a 6 in most makes and the CLs are 39s, which I think is a 6?

I did try on some sparkly strappy sandals once but they made my fairly straight feet look as if I had enormous bunions because my feet bulged out the sides so much.

He does a bespoke service if you don't mind having a second mortgage?!

Stargazing · 12/05/2008 16:51

ooh, thanks Norks, you have given me hope. On that note, what do you think of
these

Stargazing, they are completely divine. I'm sure the moment you put them on almost everyone will want to have sex with you.

I am deeply

beansmum · 12/05/2008 17:36

I love them, I actually feel like crying because they are so beautiful and I will never have them.

oh, thank you ladies. I needed some female validation. Fingers x they fit ....otherwise i am wielding a meat cleaver on my feet...

OP posts:
TheDuchessOfNorksBride · 12/05/2008 17:42

Oh I don't know what to say. I usually wear unadorned shoes (except sparkly sandals), I don't do bows or flowers etc. But I like slingbacks in general though. That do you?

I hope they fit beautifully!

CombustibleLemon · 12/05/2008 17:42

Mmmm, vicarious shoe joy. You don't really need 5 toes per foot do you?

Tatterdemalion · 12/05/2008 17:44

btw I have size 42 feet and had an interesting exchange with the lady in the Kurt Geiger shop re sizings. I went in and asked for a size 8 and she brings out a 41, I knew they wouldn't fit (they didn't) so I then asked for a 42 (they don't go up to 42)

shoe lady got all shirty " NO! because 42 is a 9"

"no it isn't 42 is an 8" said I

we went round and round for a while which was obviously a waste of time as KG (at this shop) doesn't sell to those blessed with anti tilt in a gale sized feet.

MissingMyHeels · 12/05/2008 17:47

I have a pair of CL peep toes and I had to go up a size as they were very narrow - I would definitely go for the size 42!

MissingMyHeels · 12/05/2008 17:49

Mine are patent leather though and I looked properly at your link - they're gorgeous - satin may be more forgiving!
