Smart shoes for RHS chelsea

Through work I've been invited to the preview of the RHS Chelsea flower show this year, including a breakfast mtg with a variety of directors and garden designers. I'm beyond excited but unsure about outfit. I've been before myself and gone in a casual frock and trainers, but am very much in 'smart work mode' this time. I have a long dress and cropped blazer that I think will work but am struggling for shoes. I'll end up walking miles and bits of the site are quite muddy so they need to be flat, not pale, ideally wipe clean (I.e. not suede like) but also smart, and ideally under £50-60. I'd like something a bit more/different than a ballet pump, I love slightly vintage looking, mary jane, t bar type styles. Can anyone suggest anything suitable?!? Photo not me but of the dress I think I'll wear.

If you’re a size 3, 5, or 6 then you could snap these up:

(Very limited sizes in their sale shoes now, but have a look anyway.)

It sounds such a fun event - but I honestly doubt that you’ll find decent footwear that meets all your criteria within your stated budget - unless M and Spencer or perhaps a supermarket. Which may not be what you had in mind.

Are sandals too casual? I have a few pairs of these and can wear them all day comfortably. Lots of different colours available and wipe clean leather. Over budget but well worth it. I’m still wearing my first pair from 3 years ago. www.hotter.com/tourist-ii-sandals-green-1700?_gl=1fs03kz_upMQ.._gs*MQ..&gclid=CjwKCAjwvr--BhB5EiwAd5YbXo0yqf6FooPbMAdJhKA1DL5txc-DdC-GasrbXEvhPvkH67XSd2uvWhoCra4QAvD_BwE&gbraid=0AAAAAqMPoM8fX2qnCTPIVeVeAtku824DO

Sadly think I need closed toes, I was there last year and it was quite muddy in places. It's such a tricky brief I know, could go a bit above budget as the right pair I'll wear again

Really like these but in my head they're a bit wedding rather than work. They'd be perfect in a navy or plain colour!

I think that dress would look amazing with some doc martins, or solovair but I realise it not a look everyone likes.

Some similar styles on Pavers website too if you search for Mary Janes
