thongs under white trousers...

I know they prevent any unsightly VPL but there's something a bit disturbing about a thong I think... they go up your bottom for a start. Or am I very old fashioned ?

I hate them and have never found them comfy

I don't wear white trousers but if I did I'd wear shorts-type knickers in a colour I';d checked didn;t show

it just looks as though you are not wearing any knickers from behind, I think that's what's disturbing...not that I spend my time staring at other women's bottoms- only if someone is walking in front of me...

Also, you can really see bums wobble in white trousers, even if the person wearing them is very slim. Pants prevent some of the wobble

I agree the nude ones are good marks has some which are really thin which are great

ditto nickytwotimes. white trews need lining. and if lined, then any pair of knicks will do. i hate to see anyone's arse, even if supertoned, in white trews that are unlined. dh otoh, would differ.

LovelyMonster - if you like em, go for it. I think it's more of a comfort issue than a style thing (though if you listen to Gok he'll say big bloomers are all the rage).

I do have nude coloured shorts-style pants which are lovely, but capris are quite tight-fitting so vpl unavoidable. Also reasonably thick material so hopefully no-one caught an eyeful of my cellulite

I doubt your cheek dimples were on show if capris are made of thick fabric, and I'm sure you looked at your bum from every angle before deciding it was okay to wear them!

Hahahaha re Gok dream! In real life though, my DH saw him out at dinner with some of his Gokettes once. Don't know why I wrote that - the story's really not that interesting!!!

Okay, let me embellish it.

In real life, though, my DH was out at a dinner when Gok came along and said 'Oh my God you are so stylish and cool. Please come on my show as my co-presenter - you'll be famous and loaded, and we shall make women beautiful together!'. DH replied 'Thanks mate, but I'm happy enough being a chippie and besides which I'd never want to snuggle up to all those lovely boobies now that I'm a married man.'

Until a recent girls night out, I thought EVERYONE wore thongs. How wrong was I. I've worn thongs since I was about 13.
