Wide-leg trousers look terrible on me!

Please help a 58 year old apple find some nice trousers 🙏
i’m 5’6” and a size 12, but have no bottom to speak of and a protruding stomach.
i like Toast, but all of their trousers are either very wide legged or have elasticised waists. I would love some trousers that are slim legged with flat front and side buttons, but can’t find any. I like Arket, Cos, Toast but have the shops of central London at my disposal. Either dark denim or black I think.
any suggestions for either alternative flattering styles, or shops where I might find what I’m looking for, would be gratefully received. Budget up to £150.

I’ve just sent some wide legged linen trousers from M&S back as they made my legs look like tree trunks, I’m better in something more fitted.

I'm an inch taller than you but have proportionally long legs and I love them on me, maybe not as bad on you as you think.

Thanks both, I think maybe I might have to start wearing skirts, or just embrace the crimplene slacks my grandmother wore.

Wasn't sure about the shape - I have a tummy and short legs but they are actually very flattering and comfortable.

Maybe an upmarket version of that?

What about swing trousers? If you type that into Google lots will come up.

I can’t really deal with elasticated waists. Love the buttons on the swing trousers, but not the wide legs.
