Recommend me a stylish and practical tote bag for travel please?

I'm upgrading from my trusty mum rucksack (since my kids are in their 20's now) would ideally like something big enough for iPad, kindle, passports etc and maybe some duty free, like the idea of the pocket/strap to slot over suitcase handle but not sure if it's that useful irl. I like the look of the nordace bags (online at least), Mia TUI are too plasticky looking. Pretty flexible budget-wise within reason (doesn't need to be designer label) TIA

I love my longchamp, I have an organiser insert inside that divides it up. There are lots on ebay and vinted for bargain prices. The nordace ones are great if you'd like the over suitcase bit (I find it useful to keep my hands free) and are nice and sturdy.

My dd travels a lot and uses the Rains tote bags. She has two different sizes but can easily fit everything she needs for an overnight trip, including laptop int he smallest one.

Osprey London or White Stuff have some lovely quality larger bags.

I use the longchamp la pillage travel bag for traveling, it has short handles and so if you place it on top of your cabin suitcase one of the handles can be slipped over the retractable case handle to hold it in place.

i also recently purchased this rucksack/tote for when my shoulders won’t mange a proper tote, lots of pockets and a band to slot over case

I'm another fan of Le Pliage but I also have this which is very similar but also has the strap to go over a case handle. There are nicer colours.

I've used Tripp bags and cases. Stayed looking good for years. Massive sale on at the moment.
