Wide but not too wide jeans I’m 5’ 2”

Want something a bit cooler looking than my M&S Sienna straight jeans. The wide ones I have tried are ridiculously floppy and make me look even stumpier. Size 10 preferably a medium blue. Any ideas please?

Have you considered a flared leg rather than wide leg if your main concern is proportionality?

I tried the Sainsbury's wide legs the other day and really liked them - not clown wide, just sort of cool 70s wide.

Someone on here recommended the Hollister ones, and I have to agree, they're really well cut for us shorties!

I like topshop (ASOS now) petite jeans, always seem to fit well and I'm a similar height to you.

Levi’s do a 90s 501 which has a bigger thigh than the classic 501, while still having the classic straight leg.

I'm 5'1" and love the relaxed straight leg from River Island. I'm a size 10 as well and they are the perfect width without looking ridiculous on me.

I’ve found Hollister great for jeans.

What are hollister sizes like pls? Generous, small, true to size?
Ive a small waist (altho lately have a belly) and am full of thigh! Guess the latter doesn't matter with wide leg jeans.

They have US sizing, so go by the measurements rather than dress size, I’m normally an 6/8 and in Hollister I’m a size 2. I’m finding they come up big, but I think that’s because I’ve got a curvy bum/hips so often have to go up a couple of waist sizes to accommodate that.
