...I think probably not, what do you think?

dress
shoes

If not, which shoes would go?

How about the ones in the link??

twinsetandpearls · 11/05/2008 20:41

They might go although I think they are a bit clumpy.
I think from Monsoon are nicer although not sure about colour match.

JackieNo · 11/05/2008 20:42

I think they'd go, but would be a bit dull together. Depends on the occasion though. YOu'd get away with them for work, but could do with something more sparkly for a special occasion.

brimfull · 11/05/2008 20:43

I think as the dress is dark it needs slightly daintier shoes without ankle strap.

beansmum · 11/05/2008 20:43

I already have the shoes, but I really like the dress, so maybe I need to buy the dress and yet another pair of shoes? Because I have sooooooooooo much spare money just now! I don't need food, right?

No sure I agree about daintier, so maybe something like this? Possibly this if for a special occasion?

beansmum · 11/05/2008 20:45

It's for my birthday, so probably something more celebratory would be better.

OP posts:
twinsetandpearls · 11/05/2008 20:45

perhaps a nude heel.

JackieNo · 11/05/2008 20:46

teal?

beansmum · 11/05/2008 20:47

I like the first pair there JackieNo, what else could I wear them with, trousers? shorts?

OP posts:
SniffyHock · 11/05/2008 20:47

With that dress I'd either go nude, gold or fushia!! Not closed toe.

SniffyHock · 11/05/2008 20:48

Oooh. Teal is good too.

twinsetandpearls · 11/05/2008 20:49

It really annoys me that you can't search by colour on viva la diva as you can on asos

Quattrocento · 11/05/2008 20:49

The dress is lovely but could be worn during the day (in which case shoes prob okay but a bit sensible) or evening (in which case no to the shoes)

What's the occasion?

twinsetandpearls · 11/05/2008 20:50

I really like these but it would mean a long time without food

twinsetandpearls · 11/05/2008 20:52

Although having looked at the dress again I don;t think they would go.

beansmum · 11/05/2008 20:52

what aboutthese?

OP posts:
twinsetandpearls · 11/05/2008 20:53

would they go?

twinsetandpearls · 11/05/2008 20:53

good staple nude evening shoe?

princessmel · 11/05/2008 20:55

Couldn't see that link.

I have the first ones jackieno linked in black. they are my comfiest dancing shoes. From New Look though.

beansmum · 11/05/2008 20:57

I think I will find another dress, it's a bit dull for a birthday isn't it? And I'll save my dull brown shoes for job interviews, if I ever have any.

So now I need a fancy birthday dress, for afternoon/evening and some shoes.
