Do you buy in multiples when you find something you love?

I love the cheap Next T-shirts - perfect length, capped sleeve etc so have that in many colours. I also found my favourite jeans so panic bought a couple of pairs more.

I'm trying to step away from it now though, as I was becoming a bit samey!

Oh and trainers - I have loads of Stan smiths

Definitely leggings and jeans as I wear them all the time and occasionally T-shirts when I find ones I really like.

Yup, definitely. Mostly because it's something they do in a different colour.
I have lots of Poundland t shirts in different colours coz I love the fit.
Also I do it a lot with trousers. I love my Disturbia ones and have wide legged jeans from New Look in several colours.

(And obviously bras....if you find the Holy Grail of a well fitting one doesn't everybody buy as many as possible!)😄

Not unless you count multiple pairs of the same black sweaty Betty leggings, but it’s because they’re the best ones and I want more than one pair because I wear them often! It’s a standard style that I can’t see them discontinuing for a long time but if they did I would go and buy more pairs.
Other than that though, no.

Yes I have 15 pairs of Hollister skinny jeans that I rotate, bought at various times
I will buy the same top in a different colour and also if the brand repeat a favourite style the next season in a different print

Next time I'm buying stuff (2026 if I can keep my resolution!) I'm going back to multiples. I stopped doing this because I basically had a 'uniform' that had gone out of date; I felt it was time to switch things around, have lots of different looks and choices.

Net result: I've overspent quite badly and, just yesterday, I realised I have actually got clothes I don't remember seeing. I'm now thinking I'll spend this year devising my 'uniform' for the next three years and just get that.

It is quite fun having loads of variety and surprises though, so ...

Yes, I do it with jeans and some other things. I've been caught out in the past when an item of clothing I have loved has disappeared - when I find a really good thing I make sure I get two!

I wish I had done this with various lipsticks. Every time I find a colour I love it gets discontinued.

I used to do this, especially same item in firebrand colours, but then I found I really one more more than another for some reason. I also fear regret. If the item I'm wearing now has a good life span, then by the time I get around to wearing it's replacement, I may no longer like the style.

I have 5 Celtic and Co, wool polo neck sweaters in various colours but two are black. They are my go to sweaters in winter and next winter l will buy another. They are quite long and A line, perfect with leggings.

Yes I couldn’t decide which colour dress to buy so I bought both. Wear both. I did this with a skirt too. Strangely in both cases I bought blue and green.
I’ve done it with bras too. Once I find a good one I buy in different colours.

A gorgeous silk-blend top that Boden did for years before inexplicably dropping it and is my go-to summer work top. I’ve got three colours of that.

Uniqlo merino jumpers in two colours plus one of each ‘spare’ bought in case they didn’t wear very well. Typically they are wearing surprisingly well so the spares have sat there for two years now!

I also have a few dresses in two adjacent sizes, originally bought new and loved so much that I hunted down smaller ones on eBay when I lost weight. The bigger ones are in vacuum storage bags in the bottom of the spare bedroom wardrobe.

And Gazelles in two colours because I wear them so much and I like a bright/clashy shoe.

I buy same top in multiple colours eg uniqlo. I have a comedy chest and their skipper blouse in rayon is a firm favourite.

I have four of the same Uniqlo T-shirts in different colours and two pairs of the Ninepine Asana pants.

I always do. Plain t shirts in 5 colours, patterned cardigan in 2 colours, I may buy a 3rd. Plain cardigan in 2 colours. Short sleeved jumper in 2 colours. If I like it I stock up. I have large boobs so if something fits me well I like to stock up. Obviously I buy the same bra many times over, various shades.

Yes. I'm into uniform dressing on most days (jeans and a long sleeve black top). For eco reasons I buy most things used / on Vinted, so it's easy to search for specific brands.

I wish I'd done it with my favourite Mac lipstick. Just as I found my perfect bright shade they discontinued the amplified range

Yes, if basics / key items / regular use. Part of the reason is that even if you went to replace, the quality is often lower, even though the supposedly same item is being sold or it is even discontinued and that happens a great deal. I will also buy different colours in the same item of clothing, but that's jumpers / t-shirts.

Yes, with t shirts if I find a good one I'll get several. All either black or white.
