Help with my lacklustre hair

I am in menopause and my hair which has always been dead straight is just so drab right now. It seems thinner too. It is mid-brown and I used to have highlights but haven't had any for over 5 years now. I felt like blonder hair did not go with my complexion as I got older.

What can I do to give my hair a bit more oomph?

I asked my hairdresser about a body perm but she was dismissive.

Try a Dyson air wrap! A dab of mousse and a few airwrap curls (the curls don’t really stay in, they just add body) has worked wonders on my rubbish thin hair.

Hair oil. I've bought the Avon one and it smells gorgeous. When your hair looks shiny you feel good about it

The Aldi hair mask I read about on here is really good.

How about a keratin treatment through the mid lengths and ends? My hair goes comes flat if I have it at the roots, but it looks so smooth and glossy with it through the lengths. I can still use volumising products, Colour Wow and Oribe work well for me on the roots, but it looks so much healthier.

Following for ideas. I too have thin, poker-straight hair which has got thinner (and even more breakable) in perimenopause. Mine is light brown and I've also ditched the highlights. It needs washing every day, and anything rich or oily would just make it look greasy!
