What would you buy?

I’m trying to buy less but still want to feel current, would love some new ideas of what to buy or where to look.

I’ve bought a pair of wide leg jeans, a lightweight jacket (khaki, from Zara but actually from vinted - new with tags for £5!!), after a new pair of adidas trainers in a neutral colour, couple of Zara t shirts and a pale yellow chunky cardigan.

Trying to not buy for the sake of buying so I think that will do me for now.

If I didn’t already have one I would buy a tan across the body bag, mine is from Kate Spade, I also have a camera bag style one in peach leather which I use a lot in spring summer too.

I've got my eye on a pair lemon yellow loafers from next - I feel like the yellow is just the right shade that would be surprisingly versatile!
They look so fresh and springy!

I am waiting for 3 tops on Vinted as well as a cardigan and a jacket and I reckon I will have enough for now. I am sending a lot of my t-shirts to charity shops. I am retired now and really don't need as much as I have. There is an Age Concern shop nearby that sells a lot of things for £1 so I will send my tops into there once I have washed and laundered them. I am in the process of getting a better quality set of clothes sorted so they will last me. From now on I will not be buying as much as I used to.

I have bought two pairs of trousers, one khaki and one light olive, that should be O.K. for both work and casual days out. They are modern shapes but not massively wide.

I would like to buy a new pair of trainers and I also have my eye on some lovely sage green Mary Jane style shoes which I don't really need but would love to have for spring.

I’ve bought:
Trainers
A dress
White wide leg linen trousers
Flowy shirt
Looking for sandals but struggling with that

OK- so I 'need' a trench coat - a bit longer and warmer than my current one. Don't know about the rest.

I find Spring impossible because a) I find it impossible to imagine what a warm day might feel like b) 'Spring' seems to last about five minutes- I.e. that In between season where you suddenly realise you have no in between clothes, you go shopping and buy 1 thing, like a v neck cotton jumper, and then the next thing you know it's summer and you are wondering when you will ever wear a v neck cotton jumper, as you live in short sleeves.

Usually in spring I check my short sleeved T's and buy a few new ones. I could also use casual slip on shoes, and a pair of non-jean casual trousers, maybe cropped cargos.

I'm planning retirement, so need a closet clean out of work clothes, and pump up the casual, without looking frumpy.
