Can short hair be stylish?

I have short hair, a style a bit like Vicky McClure in Line Of Duty. I've had this style for ages and would love a refresh, but there are pretty much no short hair styles around on style pages and online. I'd love some inspiration. Is there such a thing as a stylish, modern, short haircut. Please don't tell me to get a bob, I've tried this and just don't get on with the inbetween length! Please help me with some photos.

I have very short hair (always have as far back as I can remember) and use Pinterest to look for stylish short looks which I then take to my hairdresser. Would that work for you?

Thanks, I do use Pinterest and do like to take a picture to the hairdresser as agreed it really helps. I find most of the pictures of short hair are from 10+ years ago, even if I search for 'short hair 2025'. Maybe it just isn't fashionable anymore.

I know bobs are very much back in this year so a lot of the 2025 styles are that. I like a lot of the late 90s short styles and given that 90s fashion is massive at the moment I use it as my inspiration. Mine's like Natalie Imbruglia's in her torn video at the moment it that helps any.

If I had the bone structure for it I would absolutely go for Winona Ryder's 90s pixie crop. Unfortunately short hair doesn't suit me at all.

Kristen Scott Thomas's hair in the show Slow Horses is absolutely wonderful and so chic - it was more of a bob in the first season but got much much shorter as they went on. Also Charlotte Rampling's hair at the Stella McCartney F/W24 show is glorious.

I'm confused by this question. I think it's only short hair that can be stylish. Is this such an odd opinion to have?
