I've lost a bit of weight and hopefully will lose a few more kg. The last few years I've been in the throes of pregnancy and two newborns and now I'm done having children I'd like to start updating my wardrobe.
I love Sezane although not actually bought anything from there but I always look, it's probably because it's at the very top of my price range so I look on vinted but always a bit of a risk with sizing when you don't own anything from that brand already!

Generally in winter I'm a dress and boots or jeans and jumper person, nothing too out there but I like to dress to flatter my shape. Summer I'm usually always in midi or maxi dresses and skirts with a denim jacket.

Size 14 hopefully 12 by summer, hour glass, 31.

Hit me with your favourite brands that are not super pricey but are great for classic timeless pieces in lovely fabrics! Thank you 🩷

Zara
Free People

I love sezane. They have a very easy returns policy so you can order more than 1 size and send back what doesn’t fit. There are lots of Facebook sezane pages where the group members take photos of what they have ordered . They also state their height and clothes size so you can get a better sense of how things look when not on a model .
Personally I would go for quality over quantity so I don’t mind buying fewer things at a slightly higher price.

I like Other Stories too

I have lost weight and expanded my brand repertoire via Vinted, I’m really liking The Kooples, Zadig & Voltaire and Acne.

For buying new, I recommend Cos, Anthropologie, Ba&sh, AllSaints and Me+Em.

Strongly recommend some selective buying of brands over on Vinted.
I keep a note of ones mentioned here and do a regular search and it's made losing weight and experimenting with a new style very cost effective!
