Mid Rise Jeans

What is going on with Jeans? High waisted everywhere. I have long legs but a short torso so high waisted jeans are fighting with my bra strap. Anyone found any mid rise jeans that are actually mid rise? I found the perfect jeans but unfortunately on a US website and the delivery, taxes and fees meant that two pairs of jeans would have been £225!!

@CherryogDog , they all do on me. I remember once nipping to the shops in a new pair of jeans and having to make a makeshift belt out of a carrier bag.

Jeans described as low-rise these days tend to be more mid-rise to my eye. But then I am solidly millennial, and low-rise jeans to me are the noughties Britney pube-skimming style 😆

It's hard to tell on Zara though because they seem to often put the model in a size too big so the high and mid rise jeans sit more mid to low on them, rather than showing how they would actually fit correctly. It's stuff like this that drives people mad about Zara, I don't know why they do it. (even though I buy most of my clothes from them!)

Totally agree. Looking at the jeans on the models, they are all slouched and look too big and baggy. Looks like the crotch is mid thigh on some of the models.
