If You sell an item on Vestiaire and the item is sent to the Vestiaire to pass their control and all is well they post the item to the buyer and payment is issued to the seller, what about if the buyer dislikes the item or wants to return?
I mean when I sell this way I don’t even see who the buyer is, I don’t even know if they are in UK , feedback anything….
Could you enlighten me me please?
So far I sold few items and all were ok however I keep thinking what if…how does it all work?

Are you a Professional Seller - under their terms? Buyers can get refunds from them, but as I understand it, the only option buyers otherwise have is to offer the item for re-sale.

Perhaps you need to read their policies for Buyers as well as those for Sellers, to see both sides of the process?

I would guess I’m individual seller.. I never signed up for any professional selling, unless I’m not aware. I only sell rarely, like once in 6 months..
I tried to see about the buyer but impossible, also I read that buyers can damage items in order to return.
I just payment issued into my paypal and I think the item now will be posted to the buyer, so I would like to know if I should widraw the money or wait just in case?

I just checked and I’m Expert seller, does it makes me professional then?
im so unfamiliar with Vestiaire, I only turned to selling to them about 2 years ago, when my items would get ridiculous low offers on eBay or vinted and I was scared getting scammed there .
Vestiaire was great and seems great selling for designer items..as I like the fact they autheticate items prior sending it to the buyers, however I just read some horror stories about buyers too..

I have sold a few things on VC. Like you I am an individual seller. If the VC quality control accepts the item and and they send it to the buyer, then you will get paid. The buyer can't return the item just because they don't like it.

There is also a direct shipping option, where you directly send the item to the buyer (so not to VC for quality control). In this case the buyer has three days to report any issues about the product, but these have to be real issues (e.g. imperfections that you haven't posted photos of) not just not liking the item. You will get paid after three days if no issue is raised.

I have sold about ten items including designer bags. The process has been smooth when a sale happens, but closing a sale and the number of people who make offers and then disappear is quite annoying.

Thank you, yes my last item was sold to send VC and then to the buyer, I already got paid when VC received it. I just wonder they will probably send it to the buyer, what would happen if the buyer doesn’t like it..
All my previous sales were smooth, some direct ship to the buyer and some to the VC..
