Gold/metal watch - for narrow wrists

I’m on the hunt for a gold (plated) watch (budget around £100). I have really small wrists so am likely to need to remove some of the links. And I need a petite face.

I bought this one because I thought you could adjust the strap length yourself but they annoyingly recently changed the design (leaving me with an excess of 6cm).

Has anyone got any recommendations for a small watch (both diameter and strap length)? With the Rosefield one, they said no one can adjust it so can’t be taken to a jeweller/watch repair but am I right in thinking you can sometimes do this with linked watches?

You are definitely right that you can remove links in a lot of watch straps. I've had to do it with every watch I've owned over the years, as I have skinny wrists too.

What I don't know is if that particular one can be adjusted.
