Shoes - Any Views on Vivaia and/or Moda in Pelle?

In constant search for shoes which are comfortable but stylish here. Am looking at flats, particularly trainers and loafers.

Have seen ads for Vivaia online and like look of some styles. Has anyone tried them and have views, including on how they stand up to English weather?

Also, a friend has some Moda in Pelle shoes. They have a wide selection online but I’ve never tried them on IRL.

Views welcome. TIA.

So many influencers are paid to promote them, which is a red flag.

Vivaia are a bit like Vionic. The soles are incredibly comfy and soft but actually I'm not sure they are great for your feet overall...plantar fascitis and all that. I have a pair of dark grey leather Vionics ballet flats with rubber soles and they are okay, nothing amazing but I like the style and they are comfy, did I want to pay £90, not really BUT I've had them about eight years so was probably worth it - for ballet flats I think it's worth finding ones with rubber soles otherwise it's like walking on the ground. Another brand that have the rubber sole ballet flats is Hush Puppy.

I've been into a Moda Pelle store and I think they are good. I always look at the quality of the leather and whether it looks like it will age well.

I've got a few pairs of Moda in Pelle. They're good quality for the price range and all mine have lasted well, even the oldest ones don't look tired. There's no automated return system, which makes me nervous while I'm waiting for a refund, but everything's worked okay so far!

They can be a bit narrow around the - what do you call it, the widest part of your foot? Mine are the wider end of standard and I wouldn't recommend MinP to anyone with properly wide-fitting feet.

Vivaia ripped my feet to shreds! I suspect I was inbetween sizes so the larger pair slid off so I sized down, 30 minutes in to th first time I wore them and I was covered in blisters and in agony. But I know people who swear by them so I they must work for some people.

I’ve had Moda in Pelle shoes, they come up narrow imo (which suits me). They are good quality. But some of the styles are a bit over the top/gaudy.

They have shops and concessions in various places.
