wearing my blue jeans with this top (sorry didn't have a hanger close at hand so it looks a bit weird laid down flat).

Now I have 2 choices of boots

the brown ones - which I wear most days and I think are a bit "dull" for going out - but are the correct colour for Jeans.....

or

the black ones - which hardly ever get worn, I prefer these, but they're black.......

The black ones - definitely

Have a great night out!

glitterfairy · 09/05/2008 18:32

Wear the black ones the top is black and white so wont be a problem. Like the top by the way.

I didnt know there was a correct colour for jeans as I wear all colours and types of shoe with them including pink and white spotty high slingbacks.

mybrainaches · 09/05/2008 18:32

I never knew ther was a problem with wearing black boots with jeans, I always do

cocolepew · 09/05/2008 18:33

Who told you you can't wear black boots with blue jeans?! They're mad, you can wear any colour except crocs with jeans. Go for the black.

FAQ · 09/05/2008 18:34

I didn't know there was a problem until I read a thread on MN, and was "teased" (in the nicest possible way) at a MN meet-up in Edinburgh for having black boots on with Jeans

black i used to live in my jeans and black boots i wasnt aware that there was anything wrong with thsi i match my shoes to my top and personally would not wear brown boots with a black top as brown and black dont match

Hadassah · 09/05/2008 18:49

During the day brown is better, and men should not wear black shoes with jeans, but for a woman going out in the evening black boots with jeans are fine.

Iota · 09/05/2008 18:54

I don't have any brown boots, so black for me every time

Gobbledigook · 09/05/2008 18:56

This is a no-brainer - the black ones.
I always wear black high heel boots with jeans (dark jeans usually though) when going out.

zippitippitoes · 09/05/2008 18:56

yes and she recently looked at the photos on my profile and said

good you are wearing brown boots

FAQ · 09/05/2008 18:57

they are quite a dark blue the jeans I'm wearing......

I actually went looking for a pair of brown boots (similar to the black ones) today in town.........I have a thing for boots (which H HATED as I was constantly stopping oggling at them LOL), but couldn't find any I liked in my size

SniffyHock · 09/05/2008 18:58

Are you taking your new hair out for a spin? Have a fab time - you look great!!

Gobbledigook · 09/05/2008 18:59

Black, black, black

Apart from anythign else - the style is more 'evening'. The brown ones are not 'evening' boots imo.

I agree with naily though that brown in the daytime is better (unless I'm wearing my black patent boots which are FAB)

zippitippitoes · 09/05/2008 19:05
