Looking for the next Holy grail of trousers.

Ok, I know how some of you like a challenge, so I'm looking for a new pair of trousers which need to fit the criteria listed below.
Currently I live in these (or baggy jeans):

They are almost perfect (only flaw being no pockets). Ideally I'd like something similar but in a lighter 'safe' colour (beige or cream, maybe grey) but I can only find them in dark colours.

What I'm looking for (in order of preference):

• Machine washable (and tumble dryer safe, also I don't iron 😅)
• Comfortable but smart (for work)
• Wide fit
• Long (I'm 5'7 but have stupidly long legs)
• Pockets

They also have to be deliverable to France. Budget up to 50€. I'm a size 14ish (42/44 French size).

Also I'd like the moon. On a stick. Please.

Try Uniqlo, Me&Em or Baukjen. No idea really. Might a brand like Robell do them?

Define ‘long’, please. What’s your inside leg?

In the UK, i'd suggest slightly cheaper than M&S, like Tu at Sainsbury's, George at Asda, Matalan, etc so might French supermarkets/budget brands have something?

Have a look on the Next website - they do a long length in most of their styles but also have other brands. I don't know about delivery to France though.

I have a couple of pairs of wide leg trousers from Holland Cooper which are lovely.

Mine are black and navy but they also have pale colours.

I have these in black and they’re really nice.. would go for more colours but they’re limited in stock in a lot of sizes now.

Those are lovely, a bit over budget at 80€, how much are they in the UK? I'm coming over in summer so maybe I should wait until then.

Problem with French clothes shops is everything's so short, apart from H&M but I've had no joy there so far.

Ah apologies, I’ve just checked and they’re £65 now but were on sale at around £48 when I bought them last month.

Oooh no, you're right, the light grey ones are in the sales making them more or less on budget. I'm very tempted by the beige ones now (obviously not on sale 🙄).

I wish they didn't have the stripes down the outside!

Second these, they look way more expensive than they are. Mine are too big now so will be the next size down they are brilliant

You can get Next in France. They usually have a long leg option. And they resell a lot of British brands.

Sadly the ones linked by the OP seem to be mostly out of stock because I've read a lot about these and would like to try a pair but don't seem to have my size. I'm hoping they become one of their staples rather than a flash in the pan here today, gone tomorrow fashion item and they'll come back in stock soon.

But can anyone say how they wash and wear? I was a bit concerned that the jersey fabric would start to look tired quite quickly, fading and losing it's shape, so wouldn't be any good for regular workwear.
