Need an outfit for a royal event

It's a daytime event, in March in an old building so probably need a jacket. I have absolutely no idea what to wear. It's the first of a number of similar events so ideally something quite versatile so that I can wear it again rather than something that will be very memorable.

I'm 50, size 10, long brown hair, green eyes.

Help!

No idea if they are too expensive but I would go to me and em and get a suit I can change up in this situation. Or Cos if price sensitive

I can afford to spend a bit as long as its something I can wear on other occasions

I love this, and you can mix the pieces up and create loads of combinations.

I think their trouser suits are lovely but I'm small plus DH has to wear a morning suit so I'm not suspect I should perhaps wear a dress

Anything here take your fancy? The jackets, skirts and dresses are interchangeable. I've had a vast amount of wear out of Pauw formal wear.
