Where can I get decent cotton underwear these days?

It used to be M&S for me, but their multipack briefs have gone downhill in quality. The cotton is very thin if there are any high cotton ones at all.

I just want some reliable plain cotton knickers to replace ones I've had for a while. I thought about John Lewis, but they don't seem very well made either, as dd has a few pairs and the seams aren't very strong as they have come undone in the wash.

Anyone had experience with Stripe and Stare?

Is Tencel a good alternative to cotton? Haven't bought anything made of Tencel, but Stripe and Stare seem to do styles made of it.

Okay, I've just spent £50 on 9 pairs of knickers!😬
Not bad considering it's just over £5 a pair.

I went for plain black cotton boy shorts from John Lewis, but couldn't resist the bright colours of British Boxers women's boxers.

Fingers crossed that they all fit okay.

Decent underwear costs a decent amount. British Boxers are excellent if you buy during a sale

I bought some Stripe and Stare about a year ago, very comfortable but have to be washed on gentle/low preferably in a net bag or they die. Which is not ideal for everyday pants really. Bought some Sloggi ones from supermarket a few months ago, cotton is soft and thick and they can be washed any temp up to 60 and seem to survive, so can throw them in any laundry load
