Foundation for rosacea mature skin

I've got mild rosacea and have generally found Bare Minerals powder foundation to be best for me over the last few years. What I like about it is that first off it doesn't flare my skin up, but also it looks very natural if I don't put loads on. I like being able to cover my redness but still let some freckles and skin tone show through. I'm aiming for a no make up look, not a full coverage. I often wear just foundation, sometimes plus a small lick of mascara.

However as I am getting older the skin under my eyes is getting more lined and the Bare Minerals is sitting badly in the lines and makes it look crepey and really dry. I don't mind the lines themselves, it's just part of aging but they look awful with the foundation on!

Has anyone got any suggestions as to what to try, based upon what I like about my current foundation? I don't have particularly bad skin, rosacea aside. I get the odd hormonal spot but that's about it.

Have you looked at Rosalique? It can work as a tinted moisturiser but you can build it up. I use it now instead of foundation for my everyday wear. Then I use it under other foundation for times when I want more makeup

I absolutely love erborian cc red correct, recommended to me at space nk.
I don't use under eyes, as I think almost anything settled in lines, but this is buildable and I can top up if needed without getting cakey.

I agree with poster above. I got the Erborian one in a boots box and it is amazing. I use it to cover red spider veins. A little goes a long way either way it too!

Could you just avoid using the BM on your eyes?

After BM my next fave product is Nars radiant tinted moisturiser.

Make sure you try a sample, it went bright orange on my skin!

I like Estee Lauder DW used very sparingly as a concealer and applied with a buffer brush., also just discovered Elf Soft Glam which is fab.

The bare minerals complexion rescue tinted moisturiser is my go to and I have similar problems with my skin. If I want heavier coverage for say nights out etc then I put some of the BM powder on top

IT cosmetics cc cream. Buildable and great at covering rosacea on fifties skin. I put it on with a brush and a little goes a long way.

Altruist Dermatologist Anti Redness and Pigmentation SPF50 Tinted Face Cream
Is excellent. I've used it for years.

Clinique anti redness foundation is fantastic

I have tried a sample of Rosalique years ago and it did go a funny colour, despite me putting only a small amount on. It's kind of put me off other colour correcting ones though I have seen a lot of positive reviews of them.

Thanks for the suggestions, I will have a little look to see if I can get samples of any of them.

Eborian one is good OP, so much better than Rosalie.
