(home style) i need recommendations for smart furniture shops

will be Going Mad shopping fo the new house

don';t want too minimal/contemporary - we have a lot of that already (bought for city-centre apartments)

in the past have bought a lot from heals and similar, but looking for more classic

Almost all of our stuff is from the Real Wood Furniture shop in Woodstock.

They have a website.

The furniture is all hand made. Most of ours is in burr oak or maple. They also stock lots of really lovely one off pieces such as vases, lamps etc.

It's obviously not cheap but will last forever.

I love going there as it's a really old building on the main road thru/ Woodstock set out in room settings and it always smells of beeswax candles & has log fires and a dog padding around.
