this is pretty

PatsyCline · 07/05/2008 18:10

What about this very pretty tunic with a maternity pencil-style skirt?

Or this red number?

This site has some very 'dressy' dresses!

I like it because it says, "I'm pregnant and proud!"

Oblomov · 07/05/2008 19:18

Keeping an eye open, too. I need one for June , for my mil( who is lovely) big birthday party.

Oblomov · 07/05/2008 19:20

Many of them are lovely, but not many of them are very 'summery'.

Yorky · 07/05/2008 19:36

I found a lovely dress for DH (military) summer ball on bjorn and me website, not too extortionate either, thanks for the pointers!
I love looking at all the links but I just can't see me wearing pretty summer dresses to play in the sandpit with DS!

next

OracleInaCoracle · 07/05/2008 19:44

and i love this

I like the brown one from next but was thinking maybe a bit dull for a wedding. Like the red ruffle dress. I take it you can wear red to a wedding. I was a bit concerned it would be a bit 'bright and daring' at 7 months pregnant

would you wear black for a wedding or too dull?

I'd definately would (and have) worn black to a wedding... Put it with some lighter or brighter accessories to brighten it up a bit

OracleInaCoracle · 11/05/2008 17:02

the first next dress is in the sale for £20 now!

at £12 it's worth a punt, non?

missblythe · 11/05/2008 18:29

Gold shoes would be cracking with teh purple too.

OracleInaCoracle · 11/05/2008 18:29

the purple would be fab!

would the 10 not do? next maternity is v generous iirc

missblythe · 11/05/2008 18:30

Don't think the Next brown is dull, but you could change the sash for something brighter-turquoise or pink would work best-if you fancied.

MerryMarigold · 11/05/2008 18:30

have you looked on ebay. there seem to be tons of people selling weddingy dresses that they only wore once. it's quite annoying actually when you are looking for a normal summer dress!
