Little bit of animal print for a funeral?

My beloved Mum died this week... she adored a bit of animal print, one of her favourite coats was a DKNY leopard print mac. She was a very stylish 84 year old!

With that in mind would it be appropriate or not to wear a little bit for her funeral? I'm thinking a black suit with some sort of animal print top/shirt? It will be quite a traditional funeral, full Catholic Church service etc. Would people be looking at me and thinking "wtf?" Or am I overthinking this? Will anyone care?

She sounds like a lovely mum. I hope you find the perfect thing ❤️❤️

I'm so sorry for the loss of your dear Mum.

Yes to the leopard print. Head to toe if you want!

I don't really understand the whole wearing all black to a funeral. Wear what you like, within reason, as long as its nice, clean and respectable.

I've been to funerals where some people have turned up in joggers and football shirts or food stained clothes 🤦‍♀️

Absolutely wear it. My FIL died many yers ago but before he died he bought me a shocking pink trenchcoat (80's) and I wore it to his funeral. A friend died in her 40's and she requested we wore 'fabulous' shoes and another friend asked that we looked 'gorgeous'. It doesn't have to be all black or ark colours
