i need a strapless bra (38DD), one that supports and lifts wobbly boobs

title says it all, i need a strapless bra but all the ones ive tried on previously make my boobs look ridiculous they either spread them out or squash them into points or roll down or my boobs fall out or i get a sort of four boob effect. i would be willing to spend a bit of money if it was well fitting. i usually buy my bras from figleaves but most of the strapless bras on there (for larger breasts) have bad/poor reviews. im a bridesmaid in a few weeks so i need one for under my dress but could also do to wear one on days like this when the suns out so i dont get strap marks. HELP please!!!!

you know I have quite small breasts and I have found it very hard to get a decent strapless bra
the best one I found was from Debenhams and I had to try loads on - but it still isn't great tbh

LOL by the way, the "you know I have small breasts" was not meant to imply that you actually KNEW I had small breasts
more "I've got small breasts, you know?"

LOL

best thing is to go to nearest good dept store (john lewis, fenwicks or similar) go to the underwar dept on a non busy time and get them to find one for you. Also try other sizes (34 G) for example as these may give your more support and fit better

I have never succesfully found one so will keep an eye on this thread have had a few pop out experiences though! They just sort of fold over with me and I have tried them all!

Bravissimo? - but get fitted. Strapless needs to be too tight, rather than a little loose or it will fall down.
A corset might be better cos it has a larger area of flesh to stop it slipping down. I want one really.

I normally really struggle to find a good strapless bra, but recently found a great one in Debenhams. Very plain and in nude or black IIRC. I find thier bras for bigger norks very good - but you need to be prepared to try on a few before getting the right fit!

ive never been fitted properly and know i should go but dont fancy getting them out (even though i know they've seen it all before)and not just because of my hideous boobs, i would never let anyone see my belly! (which leads to my dilema about a spray tan but i wont start on that!)
i hadnt thought about going down a back size- makes perfact sense i suppose. i think a trip to debenhams is in order!

please please get fitted properly. You will be amazed at how much difference it makes x

laundrylover · 08/05/2008 10:20

Olsmum, you must get fitted. Are you anywhere near a Bravissimo? Their fitters are fab, all have big boobs and some even have wobbly bellies!!!

If you get fitted you'll probably find that you are a completely different size and that your hooters will look fab after.

I have HUGE floppy boobs and a dreadful belly but Bravissimo fit by eye, not tape, and I have always enjoyed my fitting, managed a laugh and not felt embarassed at all.

Go on.....

olsmum · 08/05/2008 19:01
