How to remove silver shampoo - hair too dark

My hairdresser used a silver shampoo on my hair today and it's really darkened it. I don't like it at all! My hair is salt and pepper colour. I usually use purple shampoo which brightens it and brings out the "salt" shades. This is most definitely pepper 😐.

Do I need to buy a clarifying shampoo? What brand should I get? Washing up liquid maybe?! I ideally want it gone in the next 5 days.

Help!

If it was just a shampoo I don't think you'll have to do anything drastic they usually fade really quickly!

Try adding a bit of bicarb to your usual shampoo.

get some Head & Shoulders shampoo, it's great for stripping out unwanted hair colour.

Vosene is good at stripping colour. Can you even still buy it though?! Maybe at somewhere like Savers!

@MrsJHernandez Yes! You can get Vosene at Home Bargains / B&M etc. It is much loved in my house.

I only used Vosene once to strip a barbie pink colour out of my hair about 25 years ago!

I remember this from the 80's/90's and used to love the smell when I was a kid...
