I have tried multiple times to grow out greys but stalled and restarted dyeing again.
im in my fifties but not ready to go full grey.
my latest plan is a mix of highlights and lowlights on my dark brown curly hair, not covering all the greys , so rather than disguising them, blending them in with my natural colour and my existing highlights.
i have just had this done a week ago so am expecting a lot of grey regrowing in another week or so but the hairdresser has advised the regrowth will be less noticeable and won’t need as much upkeep as my previous hair colours due to less demarcation line.
has anyone else tried blending rather than covering greys?
if so, how long did it take you to fully grow and blend the grey through the full length of your hair?
I’m nothing if not impatient 🤣🤦🏽♀️
