Don't shoot me! - where can I buy on-the-waist 3/4 jeans/combats/summer trousers. I don't do low rise

Pretty please, anyone know where I can buy some on the high street? Low rise just give me a huge muffin overspill and it makes me feel horrible and wobbly. I am exercising loads to lose it, but need some summer clothes that rein the bulge in right now! Am going shopping tomorrow....

Most shops are doing on the waist now (but you have to try on as everyones waist is in a diff place). I bought some v comfy cropped jeans from Asda yesterday (£15).

New Look do great cropped and knee length combats in lots of colours.

Oh, is on-the-waist 'in' then? I assumed this would be a major trek.

Haven't been in New Look for at least a decade thoug (nor Top Shop) - surely I am too old??

Dorothy Perkins. They never did manage to get 'below the waist' in their cut!

harpomarx · 06/05/2008 23:29

bet M&S do them.

or if 'on the waist' is trendy now then they are probably doing low-rise!

at Colditz and harpo.
Tragically, I do tend to shop most in both those places

M& S have some really nice linen summer trousers that are not low-waist. They're also really good value at £12.
