I don't know if anybody can help please? Aged 67.

I have a tiny budget but need help! I am about a size 14 and short. Hourglass body type.
Most of my small selection of clothes don't fit. I have 2 pairs of lovely skinny trousers/ jeggings, expensive never seen the light of day. I feel like sausages if I wear them.

Any help most welcome.

Just bought this Phase Eight dress and have had loads of nice comments on it.

You will just have to take a day off, and go shopping

Put some make up on (if you wear any) and style your hair so you look ok when you look in the mirror in a new outfit

And just try lots of different things on

See it as a bit of harmless fun with no obligation to buy

Only buy something if you can see yourself actually wearing it that same day, in your normal ordinary life

My MIL is 75 and always looks quite cool, but also practical (country life with dogs), she wears clothes from M&S, Oliver Bonas, Hush, and the other day she was wearing an oversize knitted jumper (warm and comfy) with a stretch denim midi skirt, tights and loafers. She looked modern but also comfy and warm

Good luck, trust your own instincts and experiment a bit
