Please tell me what Non-Padded Bras are like?

32A until 45, recently promoted to 32B in M&S bra fitting service and it does fit better.

I have never had a non padded bra, usually wear a lightly padded full cup or plunge, had a few balconies too. I have worn Rosie for years but the satin just does not last well and so, I started to look at Autograph range and a lot are non-padded.

I am not really sure what I am asking - does it still give you shape, do the nipples stick out in British weather, generally what are cons and pros of the unpadded bra?

I went off non padded as I found the material, and usually the seam, rubbed where I didn’t want it to!

I've worn Sloggi Zero Feel for years with the padding removed. No issues at all.

I'm a similar size to you, and whilst I have one or two non padded bras, because my boobs are so teeny tiny I just look totally flat chested without a bit of padding. I have a Skims one that is padded but not wired which is very comfy, but I mostly stick to the usual padded, wired to give me a bit of shape.

I love non padded. I think you just have to try to see if you like it.

Firstly get measured properly not by M&S. then go from there.

I renewed all mine last year. Went from padded to Gossard Glossies and love them. Would not change now.

Even when I was a 32AA I never wore padded bras. I hated the feeling of wearing lumps of foam. I thought they looked fake and wanting my breasts to look bigger was never a thing.

You can’t know whether anyone else’s experience of different bras will be the same as your own. Just try them out. That will give you a better sense of what works than asking women online to describe whether their nipples stick out.

I've never worn a padded one, I think it's a very personal choice. I would recommend going to somewhere like John Lewis for a second opinion on sizing as M&S doesn't have the best track record of getting it right (though I'm sure some of their fitter are better than others!)

Just try some on in M&S under a top or shirt? They're all so different it's impossible to say.
