There are some in the sale- are they winter-worthy like the Addison trousers or better for summer?
Also are they as comfortable as they look?

They are so comfy. I'm wearing mine right now. Decent weight cotton, I wear mine in the winter (obviously)

Super comfy. I think material varies, neither of mine are as thick as Addison. And unlike Addison, size down!

Great, thank you!

I had some black ones which I found very comfy and flattering but they picked up EVERY bit of fluff and lint in the ether. (We have a cat so the ether is permanently full of hair.) I ended up getting rid of them as I felt scruffy all the time. I'm a 10/12 and size S was a nice fit.

I have them in black and green. They are very comfy and wearable most of the year. I got mine as imperfect and I can’t see what was wrong with the black but the green pair I just had to unpick a pocket. I sized down based on the reviews so XS for a size 10-12 and they fit with room to spare.

Does anyone know whether the regular or long length would be best for someone who is 5 foot 8?

Do you want to roll them up? At that height I’d be inclined to go for the long ones even if you prefer them to be to your shoes, although the waist part is so wide that there’s some room for adjustment there.

I find them quite thin compared to Addison which are heavy twill type cotton. I'm too cold in Alexas at the mo.

PPs are right, they are massive - I am 12-14 and wear size S. I am also 5'9 and regular Alexas fit fine (although I do need longer length in their dungarees).

Thanks for the advice - going to get the long ones 👍
