French Wedding Guest Outfit

I know I’ve got a while to sort this, but I’m going to a wedding in France in July and struggling for outfit ideas. Looking for some inspiration from mumsnetters.

I’m a 10/12; 5’7 on a hydrated day :)
I’m expecting to still be breastfeeding the baby so need something breastfeeding-friendly and will need to be able to wear a supportive bra. But I hate most stuff that is actually designed for feeding!

Not keen on flats but need some sort of comfortable shoes as also have a 4 year old I’ll be chasing around. And it’s South of France in July so needs to be lightweight/airy. Budget around £250 for whole outfit.

I love this, but don’t think it will work with feeding: https://www.meandem.com/int/cheesecloth-tulip-print-halterneck-frill-maxi-dress-soft-white-sherbet-lilac

Any ideas much appreciated :)

Where is the wedding - church, country house, garden? Just thinking for temperatures

Have you looked at Seraphine?

Yeah I think I agree that button down is probably the way to go although I’m not sure about sleeves given the heat, but then sleeveless button down feels a bit casual maybe? Zimmerman one is beautiful though.

I don’t think I’ll get a supportive bra under the one I posted and also not sure if the front will open enough for nursing :(

I’d order the Me+Em one and try it, it’s beautiful. I wore a similar one from there last year, whilst breastfeeding. I did size up from my normal size so it was a little more roomy but it worked fine - the little hook and eye at the front helped a lot.

Yeah, you could size up and add a belt (a nice one!) if need be. Worth trying it.

The South of France can be very hot in July, there are also a lot of naturist beaches, so maybe join in the spirit of the region and just wear a pair of flip-flops (not a euphemism).

It’s a church service followed by a reception at a chateau. I’m expecting we will be outside quite a bit at the reception.

Which bit of France is it in? South will be hot as hell, north could be anything drizzly/chilly/hot/everything in between. If in the south I'd go for sleeveless and cotton or linen.

Op - your first dress is pretty but overpriced Try Roman

Thanks all. I think you’ve convinced me to give the Me&Em dress a try before I rule it out. Might be back on this thread for more ideas in a few weeks if it doesn’t work out!
