Is there such a thing as a natural blonde hair dye

I dye my hair blonde, I have some big ass roots at the moment as I've been a bit busy but I've noticed I've recently got the odd grey 😰😰 I've read that dyes with hydrogen peroxide can actually cause you to grey prematurely so was wondering if any one had any good alternatives? I'd also consider going a dark blonde/very light brown?

Many thanks ☺️

A dye put on the hairs on your head can't affect the colour of a hair that hasn't grown yet.

Hydrogen peroxide is bleach. It lightens the hair. You can’t go lighter than your natural hair colour without bleach. You can stay your natural shade or go darker without any bleach.

@KnickerlessParsons

Yes it does...

Hydrogen peroxide does play a role in the degeneration of the melanocyte, the part of the follicle where the melanin that gives hair its color is formed, which leads to the hair turning grey.

Hydrogen peroxide is a natural oxidant; we produce an enzyme called catalase that breaks down hydrogen peroxide turning it into water and oxygen. As catalase function decreases, the levels of hydrogen peroxide increase. High levels of hydrogen peroxide block the production of pigment, leading to gray hair.

For anyone wanting to be blond pretty permanently, does it matter that the bleach might cause early grey? You’re presumably dying brown hair blond anyway so you’d just be dying grey hair blond if it did prematurely grey.

@ImNotThereAmI I do let my roots grow out a bit sometimes so would show then and might need keep dying lighter forever
