Growing out my bleached hair

Sorry if this thread has been done before but I've decided to grow out my bleached hair. I've already grown out about an inch and a half (of my natural ashy blonde hair) and it's beginning to look very... uncared for. Any tips to make this transition easier? I'm prepared for this to take a long time and I'm also prepared to have a drastic chop once the growth gets long enough....

Loads of videos and advice on TikTok. I particularly found the Timelapse videos helpful because you know what to prepare for.

I had long bleached hair and decided one day that was enough and to let it grow out. It did take quite a while, but I got it chopped it into a choppy bob and then kept getting it trimmed regularly until it grew out.

Apologies for the extra "it" there lol

I'm in the process of doing exactly the same thing!

I used this: https://bleachlondon.com/products/dark-blonde-super-natural-kit and it came out great, and then about 4 weeks later I used a Clairol Dark Bleach semi-permanent to top it up. I'm up to about 3 inches of regrowth so far and these colours blend in quite well.

The first kit is a must, as it includes the primer colour to prevent your hair going a weird mossy-green colour..

Ditto @SparklesandRainbows

I had my shoulder length hair cut shorter and layered, that took a lot of the blonde out. In fact my work colleagues complimented me on my new 'brown' colour.

@Katherineryan1986 me too!

I did mine in lockdown so I didn't have to see anyone, it grew a few inches and I just used toners at home until it grew down. Luckily I went grey in lockdown too from blonde so it was fairly straightforward. How dark ai your natural colour, is it very obvious? Maybe some layers or highlights to get the bulk of it out. ?
