Ruined jacket with fly sticky tape

I brushed across some sticky fly tape today in my brand new quilted jacket.

It left loads of sticky residue all down the sleeve of the jacket- I managed to get the sticky stuff off with a good brush and fairy liquid but now have been left with a huge dark stain- no residue on the fabric.

Any ideas how to get this out? Jacket is dry clean only and won’t be able to get it to dry cleaner until tomorrow. Anyone got any quick fixes to help?

It’s just glue, isn’t it on fly strips? I’d try a bit of WD40 but if it’s an expensive jacket I’d also be very reluctant! See what the dry cleaner thinks tomorrow though because WD40 would need to be washed out & I don’t know if dry cleaning can do that.
