Urgent advice needed for upcoming cruise

I am going on a cruise next month, my first ever. My style is definitely casual to say the least. I do have some nice summer clothes but it's not going to be very warm (Morocco, Spain, Portugal). What I really need is some good quality tailored trousers and it will have to be on line because I can't get to any decent shops, M&S is the best and it's disappointing.

I am 5'2" a size 12, weigh 8.5 stone but a little thicker round the waist than I used to be. And I'm 80. My main issue is length - I need 29" which seems hard to find.

Budget around £100.

Have you tried Next online? They have petite ranges and often 3 leg lengths.

Have you tried the M&S ones? When the fashion lately being for shorter trousers which end at the ankle I swear they're lying about lengths, I've been having to buy long instead of regular. They do have some nice trousers, I like the ponte type ones with some stretch.

Otherwise you might just need to buy a straight or tapered shape and have it taken up which shouldn't be too costly for such a straightforward job.

You could also consider a longer length cardigan or coatigan to wear over your summer clothes.

I'm sure the weather will be much nicer than here. Have a lovely time.

Maybe a light trench to throw on over everything if it's chilly outside?

You wont be cold inside the boat.

Navy and white always looks apposite on a cruise. Saw a lady on Cunard wearing white jeans with a neat-fitting navy cotton sweater and thought how good she looked

Hi. Bonmarche is your friend. They have 3 lengths of trousers and their culotte trousers are lovely. I also like their linen trousers and for more casual their jeans are brilliant too.
Don't get too bogged down with clothing choices. I've seen all sorts of styles type etc. Just feel comfortable and enjoy. Which ship you on? That may help with your decision.

Have you tried Robell? Various lengths and very good reviews. Just search for stockists in your area
