Jeans for smaller waist larger hips

Hello. Does anyone have a recommendation for jeans that fit a smaller waist and larger hips? I'm really struggling to find jeans to fit. I have a 26 inch waist, and 40 inch hips. If I buy a 12 or 14 it fits over my hips/bum, but looks so stupid as the front goes all horrible when I put a belt on, and if i don't put a belt on my tops don't stay tucked in, and I can't buy an 8/10 as its too tight on my bum and looks stupid also. I've seen some brands offering 'hourglass' style jeans but they are expensive so wanted to get recommendations first.

I have a small waist and I buy jeans that fit my hips, bottom and legs and then put darts in the wait and which takes less than ten minutes and the jeans are then a perfect fit.

Curve Love jeans by Abercrombie & Fitch are good for this.

Second curve love from abercrombie. Hollister curvy jeans are a cheaper alternative and they always have offers on. Everlane and free people do curvy jeans that are quite good but might be harder to find in person.

Just opened this thread to recommend the Abercrombie Curve Love jeans. I'm a 10/12 with a big bum/hips and smaller waist, and have several pairs in waist 29 which is perfect. The sizing is a bit of a gamble to get right (the fit guide said 30 for me but it was huge) but once you get there, sorted. They always seem to have "events" with discounts.
