Makeup Brands for Breakout Prone Skin

Hi all, looking for makeup brand recommendations for breakout prone skin. I don’t often wear makeup but whenever I do (currently Rimmel London causing the problem) I have really bad flareups and breakouts, so I’m looking for recommendations for makeup brands that are good for sensitive skin/skin friendly? Thanks!

For breakout-prone skin, it’s best to go for gentle, non-comedogenic makeup. Brands like Clinique, bareMinerals, and Huda Beauty usually have skin-friendly options. Huda Beauty’s lighter formulas, like their GloWish line, are great for sensitive skin. Just remember to patch test anything new. If you want, you can find some Huda Beauty deals to explore their range.

My understanding is that all that non comedogenic talk is guff and unproven by the brands. They say it simply to sell stuff to people worried about breakouts.
If Rimmel is breaking you out try something else. It does not need to be expensive.
Sorting out the break outs and the base layers you will place on your skin to prep for sun protection and as a good base for your next step, be that some form of foundation, skin tint moisturiser or lightly focussed concealing of problem areas, is vitally important.
